What's your magical ability?

Update: We have a winner!

Congrats Nancyg1950!!

Magic plays a large roll in Lover Enslaved and the Thieves of Aurion series, so it got me thinking. If I could have any magical ability, what would it be?

The ability to teleport to any place I want? Cool, think of all the money I'd be saving on gas. Or how about the ability to communicate with animals? Finally I'd know what my dog really thinks about me. Plus, it'd come in handy the next time I'm trekking through the woods and overhear a couple of bears exchanging their favorite honey barbecued hiker recipes.

Clearly, the possibilities are endless.

So how about you? What would your magical ability be? Leave your answer in the comment section or email me at jodiredford@jodiredford.com and you'll be entered for the chance to win an ebook copy of Lover Enslaved and your very own mini fairy house.

Isn't it cute? The house stands about 4" tall (perfect height for keeping a certain sprite from stuffing her rear-end inside)and is signed on the bottom by the artist.

I'll randomly draw a name around 8 pm Eastern time, so be sure to check back and see if you're a winner.

Hmmm
Magical ability huh? Teleport is pretty awesome. OH! or snap my fingers and my house is clean ;) Yeah, that will save some time! lol
Congrats on your release Jodi! I am saving your excerpts to read when I get home from work...

I don't know what magical ability I would like. The house cleaning thing sounds good. Maybe being able fix stuff that's broken (so I don't have to go buy new stuff) would be cool.

Congrats on your new release. It sounds good.

Congrats on the new relase, Jodi. I would love to teleport to any place in the world. But I would love also the ability to fix and rebuild anything with the snap of my fingers.

I would love to be able to read people's minds. Of course, I'd want to be able to turn off the ability at will because, let's face it, sometimes we just don't want to know what people think of us! Congrats on the release, Jodi!

(Opps! I got so excited over the handsome collard man, I posted in the wrong blog entry and then I forgot to answer the question! Shesh! Earth to Dawn... HELLO?)

A magical ablity? Hmmmm. To be able to alter my apperance. Would be great for playing an undercover dectective -- or turning myself into a gay man (then I could be a true fairy!) <---I am allowed to say that, being a gay man at heart and writing m/m!

Anyway, Hi Jodi!

WOW! What a beautiful sight! It's like a magical experiance to look at! I love it! You are so creative!

Congrats on the release of Lover Enslaved! Hunky guy on the cover! Sounds like a good read!

Much success to you!

Dawn

I think I'd like to be able to slip through time, solve mysteries from the past and all that, meet people I'd always wanted to meet.

Woo Hoo, we have some great magical abilities pouring in here. Combine them all, and we could seek world domination(insert evil laugh here.). Thanks everybody too for the congrats and well wishes. It means a lot to me.

Jodi! I'm so proud to know you. I LOVE fairies! You can bet your backside I'll be on this book like a rent-a-cop on a zitted teen. (Sorry...my head is stuck in my YA.)

The blog looks great, the book looks great...enjoy your shining moment.

All my best,
Gin/Allure

Jodi, congrats on the release! Love the blog, and hmm, what power would I want. I think the ability to move through time would be so cool. To be able to go back and forth and do my own research would be awesome.

Take care, Patti

Well dang, time travel is also the power I want--very popular here today. Still, I would love to have the power to visit all the places authors make sound so enticing -- of course then I want to travel back here to my hot showers, iced lattes, and family ;-)

Congrats on the release and thanks for the contest!

Thanks Gin, Patti, and Deborah. Time travel is popular today. But I agree, there's a lot to be said for indoor plumbing. ;)
